
CHRISTY SULLIVAN (The Bride) has appeared in a number of theatre productions at the University of Iowa, where she graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts. In addition to her theatre credits, she has starred in several film productions. In 2005, Christy began IowaCasting.com, which is an online video database of Iowa talent. Christy now resides in Los Angeles, as she pursues a career in casting.

TRAVIS SHEPHERD (The Hired Gun) is a life long Iowan who has been featured in several films, while also pursuing his Master's Degree in Secondary Education at Western Illinois University in addition to his undergrad work in History, Geography, and Theatre at the University of Iowa. He has won two Iowa Motion Picture Awards for his work in University Heights and Her Summer. Travis has also been involved in professional improv with Comedy Sportz Quad-Cities.

SHANE SIMMONS (The Groom) is a senior at the University of Iowa, where he is pursuing a degree in Cinema and Comparative Literature. Shane started his acting career in theatre productions, but later found his passion in film. He has starred in two features films, as well as a handful of shorts and music videos. In 2005, the Iowa Motion Picture Association presented Shane with an Award of Achievement for his work in University Heights. Shane also currently manages Paperback Rhino, a comedy improv group.

JUSTIN MARXEN (Joseph Adler) has carried a passion for acting ever since he saw his first movie. In 2006, he was chosen as Sean Astin’s stand-in for The Final Season. Justin has won two Iowa Motion Picture Awards for his work in For Always and University Heights. Justin also runs his own production company, MVM Movie Productions.

JIM SIOKOS (Jack Levine) has achieved international recognition for his Han Solo impersonations, which have graced TV Guide, Entertainment Television, and MTV. He recently completed work on a Canadian-produced Star Wars fan film, Secrets of the Rebellion. The Quad-City Times praised Jim’s performance in University Heights, stating that “he’s beyond good.” When he isn’t acting, Jim teaches special education at Sudlow Middle School in Davenport, Iowa.

SABIEN MINTEER (The Boyfriend) made his acting debut at the age of 9 and has continued performing for nearly 20 years on stages from Chicago to Orlando. Throughout the past several years, Sabien has acquired more than 30 theatrical credits to his name. He continues working not only on the stage, but on film productions across the nation.

CASEY CAMPBELL (The Wanted Man) is proud to be a part of The Bride Wore Blood, his third film with Bluebox Limited. He previously starred in University Heights, Her Summer, and recently finished work on Seven Panel Romance, a feature which will premiere in early 2007. Casey lives in Chicago and has worked with the White Horse Theatre Company, Remy Bumppo, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and Improv Kitche. Casey is currently finishing a script for a television pilot entitled Benchmarks, a mockumentary about midwestern high school teachers.

SCOTT BECK & BRYAN WOODS (Writer/Director/Producer) are two young filmmakers from Bettendorf, IA. The pair has been writing, directing, and producing films together since 1996 and formed their production company, Bluebox Limited, in 2001. To date, they have produced 14 shorts, 4 feature length films, and have garnered success with MTV and Project Greenlight. In December 2005, Beck & Woods received a development deal with MTV Films.

SCOTT MORSCHHAUSER (Composer) Composer and multi-instrumentalist Scott Morschhauser trained classically as a percussionist, spending his early career performing in orchestras. He played the guitar in the punk band the Scary Tweezers, accordion with pop/klezmer band The Kabalas, and Theremin and percussion with surf-spy band the Metrolites. He is currently pursuing a career composing motion picture scores.

A bold statement, yes, but the Metrolites have gained a reputation as the band that makes diverse, haunting, quirky, raucous soundscapes for your modern, hepcat lifestyle.
